Rachel Timmins

Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant

Hi, I’m Rachel! I live in Traverse City, Michigan. I’m a wife, mom of two toddler boys, lover of the beach and outdoors. I have my degree in Nutrition Science and have a passion for health, wellness, and education. I discovered my passion for pediatric sleep throughout my postpartum journeys with my two boys. My first born was an incredible sleeper at an early age and really took to the sleep schedule and routine I set up for him. Fast forward two years to my second son. He is very strong willed and as hard as I tried, I wasn’t getting him to achieve overnight sleep without wakeups. At 8 months old I reached out for support and worked with the expert, Molly, and we have been living our sleep dreams ever since! This success sparked me to take a lead to getting certified in July 2023, I began my Pediatric Sleep Consultant Certification and Newborn Care Specialist Certifications. I look forward to both supporting newborn care and education in addition to supporting and guiding families to achieve sleep success.

MOM OF A 4-MONTH OLD

I cannot recommend Molly and her services enough. 10/10 experience. We started working with Molly when our daughter Tenley was almost 4 months and taking 25 minute cat naps and bedtime could be a 3 hour cycle of rocking her to sleep only to have her wake up 25 minutes later. For the first few weeks Molly helped us lay a healthy sleep foundation with tips to help extend naps. When she turned 4 months, with Molly’s gentle method we started official sleep training. The second night she fell asleep independently in half the time it took night one. She now sleeps 10-12 hours every night in her crib with no overnight wakings and puts herself to sleep independently. My husband and I have precious time with just us at night now but are so happy we look forward to the morning waking!

TODDLER SLEEP BOOTCAMP PARENT

We did Molly’s boot camp for toddlers after my 3 year old started getting up 3,4,5 times a night and screaming for me. At that point, I was too tired, I let him share our bed or I slept in his room on the floor. After the weeklong boot camp, my little man is sleeping in his own bed all night and putting himself to sleep at night. I’ve gotten some ME time back to recharge and I’m grateful.

MOM OF A 8-MONTH OLD

Hiring Molly was hands down one of the best decisions we’ve made. Before working with Molly, our daughter did not nap unless we held her and her schedule was all over the place which did not lead to restful nights! I was overwhelmed with reading about wake windows on the internet and my husband & I were exhausted. We hired a sleep coach to help and after two weeks things were worse than ever. Enter Molly, the sleep genie, who granted our wishes of better sleep. Molly was a pleasure to work with from day one. She really takes the time for her clients and gets to know your child’s sleep patterns and behaviors , which is what we needed. She was extremely responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. My daughter is now a great napper and sleeps through the night, we could not have done it without Molly!

MOM OF A 4-MONTH OLD

If you’re reading this, it means you’re likely struggling with your baby’s sleep schedule and contemplating whether or not to hire Molly. You don’t need to read any further, the answer is undoubtedly yes.
We have been working with Molly over the last few weeks to help with our 10-month old daughter’s early risings. I was hesitatant to hire a sleep consultant because our daughter is a good sleeper, so I just began to accept that she wakes up early. Turns out that’s not the case, and now our daughter sleeps 1.5-2 hours more a night than she was previously.
Molly has been a total rockstar throughout this whole process. She’s patient, understanding, clear, knowledgeable, committed, communicative and responsive. I can’t rave enough about Molly’s approach and thoroughness - she gets it. I couldn’t recommend her more. Do yourself a favor and book her 😉

MOM OF A 2 YEAR OLD AND 4 YEAR OLD

My girls got sick so much back to back and their schedules were very disrupted. After working with Molly for just two weeks, they had an amazing transformation! I feel like I got soo much sanity and time back and they were so much happier and well rested! Thank you so much!!

MOM OF A 6-MONTH OLD

Molly has been instrumental in helping my daughter get on a schedule. I started working with her when my LO was 4 months old and she was a tremendous amount of help coaching me through the "4 month sleep regression" and giving me the right tools to help guide her into be a fantastic independent sleeper. Molly listens to you/your childs needs and does not push the traditional sleep training methods on you. She tailors her approach to fit your individual needs. In addition to, she has been helpful in adjusting her schedule as she gets older and is a great sounding board to help guide me through this journey as a first time mom. There are a lot of courses out there but the tailored approach that Molly takes with each client really sets her apart from the rest

MOM OF A 2 YEAR OLD

Our son Aiden (2 y/o) was struggling to self soothe and fall asleep on his own. We went to Molly and she immediately provided us with tons of information on how to help Aiden fall asleep by himself. She was soooo supportive to me every night when I was worried/stressed about whatever was happening with Aiden - she was always available to me and provided us with advice and coaching my husband and I on what to do and what not to do. Thank you Molly for helping us get back on track!!!

MOM OF A 4-MONTH OLD

Life has changed so much for us since sleep training. My husband and I had tried everything and our methods of helping our little girl sleep weren’t working anymore. Our whole household was affected. Our days centered around trying to get her enough sleep. We started sleep training with Sleep Coach Molly and I was shocked the first time she initiated sleep without having to be fed or held to sleep. During our journey we had to break some sleep association habits and it was challenging but Molly was there to give us advice and encouragement. Our little girl Ella is so much happier now. I feel like I can be a better mom because I’m not constantly running on fumes from sleep deprivation. Sleep training has positively impacted our whole family and we are ever so grateful to Molly and the Sleep plan she curated just for our daughter! - Grateful Mama

MOM OF A 17-MONTH OLD

We started a program when our LO was 17 months. He was fed to sleep every night and up every 2-3 hours and sometimes took up to 2 hours to go back to sleep. I was completely exhausted and knew I needed help. I had seen a recommendation from Lexi's Clean Kitchen on Instagram for Molly and decided it was time to pull the trigger. Molly was very accommodating with our anticipated start time and provided plenty of information and support both before and during the "training" period. We ended up using a couple methods before finding the one that worked best. Being able to message Molly and keep in contact with her during the whole process gave us a lot of confidence in pressing on. Our little guy took to the program so well and we even traveled with him recently with great success! I would absolutely recommend Molly and am grateful every day that we made the decision to reach out to her.

MOM OF A 4-MONTH OLD

After months of struggling with sleep, I decided to go out on a limb and join the sleep training group Molly was running for the month. It is hands down one of the best decisions I’ve made as a new Mama. I have learned so much about wake windows, nap time and bed time. Molly has been an incredible resource for our family. I highly recommend Sleep Shore!
And as an added bonus, I met two other wonderful Mamas who have been so supportive during this journey!
