MOLLY LEIGHTON – SLEEP COACH
Meet Molly – sleep coach, mom of three, and founder of Sleep Shore.
Molly launched Sleep Shore after realizing how many parents, herself included, were navigating the fog of sleepless nights and conflicting advice, desperately trying anything to help their little ones rest. When her first child wouldn’t sleep or stay asleep, she experienced the same exhaustion, anxiety, and overwhelm that so many families face. By the time her third baby arrived, she was determined to find a better way.
Drawing on her journey as a mom of three, combined with professional training, Molly created Sleep Shore to be the resource she wished she’d had: clear, compassionate, and practical support that truly works. Because she’s lived it, Molly understands that better sleep isn’t just about “sleeping through the night.” It’s about restoring confidence, reducing stress, and equipping families with the tools and real-time guidance they need to thrive day and night.
NOW THAT YOU KNOW OUR STORY
Let us tell you about our mission…
We strive to empower parents with expert sleep guidance that’s tailored to your family’s needs, your parenting style, and your comfort level. Here’s how we make that happen:
Compassion Meets Clarity
We listen deeply, then coach with real empathy and strategic, evidence-based methods.
Personalized—Not Generic
No one-size-fits-all. Every plan is customized for your child’s temperament and stage, and your parenting style and values.
Trust and Comfort
We become your calm, knowledgeable partner, helping you feel confident and supported through every transition.
Results Rooted in Care
Our ultimate goal is for your family to enjoy better rest, consistent routines, and more connection—without the stress or overwhelm.
Why Sleep Feels So Hard (and How we Help)
If you’re exhausted from endless rocking, constant night wakings, short naps, or bedtime battles that drag on for hours, you’re not alone. We’ve been there ourselves, and we’ve supported countless families who felt the same way—frustrated, overwhelmed, and wondering what they were doing wrong.
Here’s the truth: it’s not your fault, and you don’t have to figure it out on your own. With the right tools, consistent support, and real-time adjustments, you can move past the exhaustion and finally feel confident about your child’s sleep.
More Than a Plan—Support Every Step of the Way
Our one-on-one coaching is a personalized path to more restful nights. We take the time to understand your child and your family, then create a sleep plan as unique as your little one. But it’s not just about the plan it’s about having expert support while putting it into action. At Sleep Shore, we walk alongside you at every step, answering questions, troubleshooting challenges, and celebrating your wins. Families tell us what sets us apart is how deeply we care, how responsive we are, and how supported they feel throughout the process. Together, we’ll adjust in real time based on your child’s needs, making sure we’re always moving toward your goals.
BEHIND THE SCENES
What Working With Us Looks Like
At Sleep Shore, we don’t just give you a plan and send you on your way—we walk alongside you with the tools, guidance, and encouragement you need to see lasting results.

Getting to Know Your Family
Depending on the package you choose, we’ll start with a phone call to talk through your child’s sleep history, current struggles, and your family’s goals. This helps us understand the full picture so we can create a plan that feels realistic and aligned with your parenting style.

Your Personalized Sleep Plan
From there, we’ll design a step-by-step sleep plan tailored to your child’s age, needs, and temperament. We’ll go over it together on a call so you feel clear and confident about how to put it into action to build a routine of healthy sleep habits.

Ongoing Adjustments
We’ll connect through scheduled check-in calls to talk about progress, troubleshoot challenges, and anticipate upcoming changes like nap transitions or developmental leaps. As we see how your child is responding, we’ll make real-time modifications to keep us moving toward your goals.

Support During Every Step
Based on the package you select, you’ll also have ongoing support via email, text, or audio/text messaging (Voxer). This means you can reach out between calls for quick answers, reassurance, or adjustments—so you’re never left feeling unsure or alone.

Danielle Richards
Expert Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant
Danielle lives in Clare, Michigan, where she and her husband, Kevin, are raising their two daughters, Leighton and Joey, along with their pup, Bo. She’s a wife, mom, teacher, dog-mom, and now—sleep consultant! Between teaching high school English and special education, Danielle loves reading, powerlifting, running, traveling with friends and family, and relaxing with anything Bravo.
Her journey into sleep consulting was inspired by her own kids. After facing challenges like dairy intolerances, latching issues, reflux, and every sleep regression imaginable, she knows exactly how overwhelming sleep struggles can feel. Finding a path to better rest with her daughters was life-changing—and she felt called to help other families do the same.
Now, Danielle pours that mix of personal experience and professional training into her work with families. She’s passionate about helping parents feel supported, confident, and encouraged as they guide their little ones toward healthy, consistent sleep.
Rachel Timmins
Expert Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant
Rachel lives in Traverse City, Michigan, with her husband and two toddler boys. She’s a beach lover, outdoor enthusiast, and mom who knows firsthand the ups and downs of baby sleep. With a degree in Nutrition Science, her passion for health, wellness, and education naturally carried over into her journey as a sleep consultant.
Her interest in pediatric sleep began with her own boys. Her first son took to routines easily and was a great sleeper from the start. Her second? Not so much. Strong-willed and full of energy, he kept the family up night after night until Rachel reached out for support and worked with Molly. That experience changed everything—and sparked Rachel’s passion to help other families find the same relief and rest.
In 2023, she began her Pediatric Sleep Consultant and Newborn Care Specialist certifications, combining her love for education with her personal experience. Now, she’s excited to walk alongside parents, offering both newborn care and sleep support to help families feel rested, confident, and at peace.
