MOM OF A 4-MONTH OLD
I cannot recommend Molly and her services enough. 10/10 experience. We started working with Molly when our daughter Tenley was almost 4 months and taking 25 minute cat naps and bedtime could be a 3 hour cycle of rocking her to sleep only to have her wake up 25 minutes later. For the first few weeks Molly helped us lay a healthy sleep foundation with tips to help extend naps. When she turned 4 months, with Molly’s gentle method we started official sleep training. The second night she fell asleep independently in half the time it took night one. She now sleeps 10-12 hours every night in her crib with no overnight wakings and puts herself to sleep independently. My husband and I have precious time with just us at night now but are so happy we look forward to the morning waking!

Hiring Molly was hands down one of the best decisions we’ve made. Before working with Molly, our daughter did not nap unless we held her and her schedule was all over the place which did not lead to restful nights! I was overwhelmed with reading about wake windows on the internet and my husband & I were exhausted. We hired a sleep coach to help and after two weeks things were worse than ever. Enter Molly, the sleep genie, who granted our wishes of better sleep. Molly was a pleasure to work with from day one. She really takes the time for her clients and gets to know your child’s sleep patterns and behaviors , which is what we needed. She was extremely responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. My daughter is now a great napper and sleeps through the night, we could not have done it without Molly!

Molly has been instrumental in helping my daughter get on a schedule. I started working with her when my LO was 4 months old and she was a tremendous amount of help coaching me through the "4 month sleep regression" and giving me the right tools to help guide her into be a fantastic independent sleeper. Molly listens to you/your childs needs and does not push the traditional sleep training methods on you. She tailors her approach to fit your individual needs. In addition to, she has been helpful in adjusting her schedule as she gets older and is a great sounding board to help guide me through this journey as a first time mom. There are a lot of courses out there but the tailored approach that Molly takes with each client really sets her apart from the rest

Life has changed so much for us since sleep training. My husband and I had tried everything and our methods of helping our little girl sleep weren’t working anymore. Our whole household was affected. Our days centered around trying to get her enough sleep. We started sleep training with Sleep Coach Molly and I was shocked the first time she initiated sleep without having to be fed or held to sleep. During our journey we had to break some sleep association habits and it was challenging but Molly was there to give us advice and encouragement. Our little girl Ella is so much happier now. I feel like I can be a better mom because I’m not constantly running on fumes from sleep deprivation. Sleep training has positively impacted our whole family and we are ever so grateful to Molly and the Sleep plan she curated just for our daughter! - Grateful Mama

You can start laying healthy sleep foundations for your baby from day 1! I have a newborn recorded call which is a 45 minute call with me, you can watch or listen (since most newborn parents don’t have time to watch something for 45 minutes straight!) The call goes over how to get better sleep from the moment your baby is born, it also includes my newborn sleep guide and 2 complimentary calls with me!
I recommend sleep training to families once your baby is 16 weeks and 12 pounds. This is a great age to work on independent sleep as your baby’s sleep cycles are changing and a more predictable schedule is emerging. Throughout the process of sleep training, we work together to achieve consolidated, consistent sleep and more restful nights.
There are a variety of sleep training methods and approaches to help achieve independent sleep. Some methods that are more gradual, where the parent is more involved can help to minimize crying but sometimes, having more parental presence increases your baby’s crying. There are various methods of sleep training and the methods I recommend that are based on the child’s sleep history and your preference as their parents!
Crying is your baby’s natural form of communication. Your baby will be learning a new skill during this process and with any new skill, there will be a learning curve during the process. Crying is your baby’s way of saying “this is new, I don’t know what to do, help me learn!” Some degree of crying is expected.
Listening to your child cry is SO hard, trust me I have been there. To be fully transparent with you, there will likely be some crying during the learning process. There is no way to work on sleep without crying, if you’ve heard that somewhere it’s not true! Crying is a way that babies protest any change to their routine. They are a completely normal part of infant development and they can be a byproduct of habit change.
Many families tell me that the amount of tears they experience on a daily basis after sleep training is far fewer than what they were experiencing before when sleep was a struggle.
